Blue Style sells Hotel Risa as a four-star hotel.
When we arrived, we were completely shocked.
Judge for yourself.
I bought a fourteen-day all-inclusive holiday at Hotel Risa in Bitez, Turkey, through Blue Style. In September 2026, I travelled there in good faith. I was looking forward to the sea and relaxation. I chose a four-star hotel because I expected an appropriate standard of accommodation, cleanliness and food.

A four-star hotel.
Fourteen days of holiday.
All-inclusive meals.
On arrival, I found dirt, black marks resembling mould in the bathroom, damaged furnishings and neglected areas. Even changing rooms did not help. I could not understand how this was the hotel Blue Style had sold me as four-star accommodation.

The most serious problem was the food. I found the restaurant’s hygiene completely unacceptable. Old and chipped crockery, visible stains and dirt, and neglected drinks dispensers. To me, the food was almost tasteless, the meat was tough and the choice was limited.

The overall views differ in angle, lighting and table settings. The photographs below show specific details of crockery and cleanliness.
I was unable to eat properly there. The cleanliness of the crockery and surroundings made me afraid to eat anything. I was concerned about stomach and intestinal illness.

These photographs show the advertised buffet and the serving equipment and crockery during our stay. They are not identical views taken from the same angle.

I had paid for all inclusive, but in the end I had to eat elsewhere. I therefore paid extra for meals outside, even though food was already included in the price of the holiday.
Look at the photographs in Blue Style’s offer and on Hotel Risa’s website. Then look at the photographs I took during our stay.

I asked to change hotels on the very first day. They offered me two options: Dragut Point North and Charm Beach.
My main concerns about Dragut Point North were its relatively small beach and the fact that, according to the information available to me, it was a three-star hotel. I had paid for a four-star hotel. Why should I accept a lower-category replacement because of shortcomings in the original accommodation?
As for Charm Beach, the representative herself advised me during a phone call not to take it — in her words, it was more or less the same situation as Risa.
I looked through reviews and photographs of both hotels. Neither gave me the feeling that we were being moved somewhere we could finally relax and spend the rest of our holiday normally. Instead, I feared that we would simply move and similar problems would continue.
Both proposed hotels were about twenty kilometres from the original location. I had chosen a fourteen-day stay in Bitez partly for walks and outings. Instead, they offered hotels outside that area whose surroundings, based on what I found out, considerably limited those possibilities.
The location also mattered because of transport. I chose the original hotel partly for its shorter airport transfer. From the replacement hotel, the return journey to the airport took more than two hours.
This was not just about swapping one hotel for another. I was expected to give up the location and the kind of holiday I had deliberately chosen and paid for.
In Blue Style’s offer, I found ten hotels near Risa advertised as four- or five-star properties. I sent the list to the representative. She replied that they were in a different price range and that Risa was among the cheapest hotels. They would therefore not offer them as replacements without an extra charge. She later wrote that no other hotels would be offered without an extra payment.
I found this incredibly disrespectful. I paid the price Blue Style asked for the holiday. I bought a hotel advertised as four-star. A lower price did not mean I agreed to dirt and unacceptable food service. Why, when asking them to put things right, was I being told that I had bought a cheap hotel?
When I raised concerns about the proposed alternatives, the representative wrote that if I did not like it there and would not accept the offered options, I should return to the Czech Republic. She later clarified that my flight ticket could be rebooked.
I considered that response completely unacceptable.
The process dragged on for three days. I was repeatedly told in our communication that it was the weekend and I should wait until Monday. Meanwhile, we remained at the hotel and our paid holiday was slipping away.
Instead of relaxing, I documented shortcomings, wrote complaints, searched for other hotels and argued about relocation. I was stressed and concerned about health. I needed a solution I could trust. Neither the proposed options nor the way the situation was handled gave me that confidence.
In the end, I accepted Charm Beach, which I had initially rejected. My concerns had not gone away, but I no longer wanted to stay at Risa, and no other option without an extra charge was offered. After three days, I was moved.
I had been looking forward to this holiday for months.
Instead of a peaceful start, there was shock, three days of stress and the feeling that I had to argue for the basic standard of services I had already paid for.
